These are the days of My Life - Bangkok, Thailand 3/28/2011

Feeling a bit under the waether the last few days. Sore throat, chest congestions, bronchitis.  It is defiantely a different atmospere here in Bangkok, I think you call it air pollution.  The skys are cloudy and grey and mostly it is the pollution.  I am on antibiotics to see if I can get this cleared up as well and ome other med the pharmacist recomended and throat lozengers. My hosts asked why I took a 4 hour nap and I had to admit that the previous 5 days were a bit on the go for what my calendar of sightseeing had intended.  I do have a year to take in all I can but I am not the Japanese/korean tourist here for a 5 day see everything and take it all in and exhausted for the return to have said I didi it all.  My hosts are tour operators by profession and one is only 29 in age so the giddy and and go mentality is hard to slow as this is the type of program that they sell.  I however am not sold as I have barely had a moment to just chill.  Chill is my alone time that I treasure so much, Just go awandering not so much as a see something destination but just a lazy wander, that the 29 year old bores easily and when he is ready he politely states :Time to go: and off we go.  I will be looking for a place so that I can just have my own space.  As thankful as I am for the hospitality, 3 people in a 1 bedroom condo has reached it's comfort level for hospitality.  I need my own space, my own bed and my own timeline.  I want to wander the markets, which they so helpfully take me to the favorites and tend to rush to get to destinations rather than being able to savor the journey.  I have had a wonderful time and would not trade it for the world however I know me and it is time for some alone time.  Structured time is what working people have to endure...I ain't working.  Slow is a blessing that I refuse to relinquish.

Today beign Sunday, I was up ealy but feeling abit nackered, took a bit of an afternoon nap.  Got up at 2pm took the train to the mall met Ek and Ice for lunch and we went to see a movie.  The Bangkok movie threatre challenges any back home and only the theatre in Singapore was colder.  The seats were plush, floors carpeted and the screem in I-max was well gigantic. We saw another save the world, save humanity movie which was well loud.

Not my kinda flick but it was fun to see with the boys

Movie theatre was emmence
