Singapore Sling and other delicacies

Occasionally during travel, one likes a few reminders of home.  MAC cosmetics was doing a big promotion at the TANG Department Store.
Singapore is a Fine City $$.  This statement takes on a whole new meaning in Singapore.  They have fines for alot of things that we take for granted....well hardly but...Singaporeans can be fined for spitting in public, gum is illegal to bring into the country.  Rememeber that guy that vandalized the car and was caned 20 lashes for it and had the government step into prevent the punishment?  Well in Singapore you better watch your P's & Q's because they have a fine for just about everything.  You can be fined anywhere from S$100.00 to S$5,000.00 for jaywalking, littering, peeing in public, the list is long and obviously it was a problem at one time based on the fines in place to prevent future occurrences.  My friend Ben bought me the t-shirt I thought it was so funny.  There is advertisments everywhere about "Singapore is a Fine City"  and someone decided to made a few bucks by making fun of some of the silly things that locals and tourists can be fined for.
Ben & Scott at the VIP Grand Opening of a new bar in Singapore.  I have nicknamed Ben "Mayor of Singapore". Ben took me under his wing as the New Kid in Town and has been the Host with the most.  He invited me to stay with him at his flat for the week before I left for Bali.

To have a Office Tower named after you is quite impressive, I didn't even know they knew I was coming.  Of course it is on Scott Street.  Luv IT!

Sing Along ....i know you know the words...Y   M   C   A....

Singapore is aland of greenery and they love their gardens, lawn sculptures, etc....but astro turf....Really?  My only disappointment....the rest is worthy of  a return trip.

I recognize her from somewhere...???  Mona something or other.
