I heart SG = I Love Singapore, no there is a t-shirt

There appears to be no reason to put art scuptures just about anywhere in this city.

this is by the Singapore square marina area.  Not the big boat type but smaller touristy types.  pictured are the double helix sculpture, the "Hand" Singapore Art Museum and the "Boat" hotel and casino
Mini "Merlion" half Mermaid and half Lion.  It is a Singapore landmark.  the larger statue is being enclosed within a one room hotel.  The stautue is part of an art exhibit where the statue is being incorporated into a real life living room that will be a tourist  museum during the day and a rented single room hotel at night.

This is another anomoly of Singapore.  A previous church building now a shopping center and night club.  Talk about your multi use commercial property.
Singapore parliment with the city scape in the back ground.  funny as there are about 10 uniformed guards at the entrancechecking cars but the actual grounds are a beautifully landscaped garden that you can walk thru.  tight security really tight.
I've decided in order to catch up on the blog, less words and more pics are the way to go.

Singapore has a strange skyline.  Inbetween building you see yet another layer of the Singaporean skyline which will perk your interest to continue exploring this exciting city.

Singapore is very proud of it's green space.  There are still many parks and landscaping is everywhere.  The colors add to the bustle of the city.  They use the plants also to buffer the noise of the city and help with the pollution.
