These are the days of My Life - Bangkok, Indonesia

Well I have to say that after Bali, Indonesia i was set to relocate to what i thought was the most magical place on the earth that I have thus far visited.  However, As the travel continues I discover each new land has so much to offer that the next new place may indeed be the most awesome.  I treasure each new day for the wonders that are being shown me.  I have to say that traveling alone at first was quite a scary endeavor, however I have been blessed to have met someone in each new Country that has taken me under their wing to ensure that I have the experience of a life time.  I can't thank my Friend Robert and Dee for their friendship in Sydney, AU.  I will never forget my New Zealand survivor friends and will always think of you.  I will always cherish Ben for his warm hospitality during my stay in Singapore.  Being invited into your home, given the red carpet treatment, dining with your Mom and staying with you during my stay were the most incredible displays of kindness that I will never forget and cherish forever.  My newest friends from Bali, Indonesia, Norman, Ekachai, David, Jordan, Miko, Ron, Adhy, Peter and the Bali Boys at the Hotel were all incredible to meet and allowing me to join their lives for fun and exploration during my stay.    My Bali Boys that allowed me to stay with them in Bangkok, Thailand, Norman and Ekachai have been wonderful hosts and I look forward to the next 5 days as we travel together to the outer region of Thailand to visit Eka's Mom and then visit Pattaya.  More to come.

It is all about the food!

Fish tank dining table at Norman and Ekachai's home.  Awesome

Bangkok Airport

Street Vendor preparing our snack.  Ball of dough that he throws like a pizza pie...egg and sliced bananas, fried on his little grill on the left and topped with condensed milk.  Oh soooo Delicious!

My first Bangkok, Indonesian sunset as viewed from my friends N & E's 20th floor pool balcony.  Yup, pools on the 10th and 20th floors.  Only in Bangkok!

My Gracious Bangkok, Thailand Hosts; Norman and Ekachai who introduced me to Karaoke on my first night in Bangkok.  What a blast!

Bangkok takes it's shopping very serious similar to Singapore.

They have taken over the world, In Thai it doesn't look so appetising.  LOL

Try to find this at the food court at your mall.  There were over 15 different countries food being freshly made.  i stayed with the Thai cuisine.  OMG...i ain't losing any weight on this trip.

Badminton is the sport of choice in unairconditioned warehouses, on parquet floors and these boys take the game seriously.  i played and got beat big surprise.  It was a great workout.  Did I mention unairconditioned warehouses?

Dinner selections that we shared, Oh so good!

Bangkok grocery store.  Shelves packed just like yours only the aisles are smaller and the selection is very different than the Wallmart Neighborhood market at home....very different.

Recycling is very big in all the countries I have so far attended.  AU, NZ, SG, Indonesia, Thailand.  The Pepsi add is just for fun but the baskets below are outside the badminton courts for the different recycling materials.

So many modes of transportation in Bangkok, Thailand.  Rail, Bus open air above or A/C, car, tuktuk, motorcycle cabs, yup you ride on back...and I think that pollution here is worse than anywhere I have so far visited.  I have awoken each morning with  a sore throat that after alot of liquids dissipates thru the day.

Red Shirts damaged sign...Google it for details.

King & Queen of Thailand...alot of banners/sign showing support of the current government.
