I just can't stop veering off my daily path down another side street to see what it beholds at the end of the narrow street. There seems to be a monument, arch, decorative building everywhere I look. It is so much fun to just wander without a destination in mind as I am never unsatisfied by what I find around every corner.
Below is my day at the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel..The Chapel is off limits to photos but I tried to sneak a few of the amazing Michelangelo's ceiling...It was jam packed with tours but i spent 30 minutes craning my neck to absorb the splendor. Enjoy!
