I am so far behind on my blog as I appear to be having too much FUN!!! I am so tired by the time I return to my hostel it is all I can to but to fall into bed for an 8-10 hour comatose slumber. I'm talking real good sleeping, none of this REM for awhile and then tossing and turning...i am out cold when my head hits the pillow that I hardly can feel the bed springs anymore. Yeah...the mattresses at alot of the places i have stayed leave a little to be desired in the comfort department but I wouldn't change anything. I am still taking alot of pictures so that my memories will be abundant even if my mind is fried by the oh so numerous places that i have visited. I think I have saved some of the best for last as i am still amazed at how much wonderment is in this big world of ours that I have yet to see. Everyone (travelers that i have met) is always asking have I been here or there or don't miss this or that....Hell i only have 1 year, 365 days to complete my once in a life time adventure. i already feel like I could spend the rest of my life traveling to all the amazing places that people have told me about and never fit it into this life time. I am truly blessed to have this opportunity and want to make it the most memorable thing that i have done to date. So taking a wee bit more time here or there where others are just rushing thru is a blessing that I am enjoying. I have at least a 2 year additional trip that I will take int he future to see some of the other wonderment that our world has to offer. Even then I know that I will only see a small portion of all that is out there. I will continue to add my pics so that you can share in my wonderment of this great world of ours.
Italy is my home for the next 30 days. I am starting my Italian tour in Roma. I love it here. I am just a few blocks from the Termini train station that is smack dab in the middle of the city center. Everything is within walking distance (30 minutes). I have visited the Coliseum, The Forum, The Vatican, St Peter's Bacillica, Piazza del Popolo, The Castel Saint Angelo, The Pantheon, Trevi Fountain, The Spanish Steps just to name a few. The Borghese Museum is tomorrow and I spent the day in the Borghese Park which is 3.4 hectare of nothing but gorgeous. There is so much gorgeous to see just by walking the streets and talking to the people. They are all so nice and nice to look at as well (wink, wink)!! I have never seem so many little cars (Smart) but then parking is at a premium and they just park them in a row vertical to the sidewalks along with all the motor scooter....so cute. This is the land of sexy. Both the men and women are so easy on the eyes. Long hair on the men here and the 5 o'clock shadow are just yummy. I just had to break a moment as I am being serenaded by a couple of Italian musicians downstairs at the Italian restaurant. I have no idea how to upload the videos that i have but I have them saved and one day when I return the the States i will learn to upload them to U-Tube for all to enjoy.
