20th Day in Paradise, Australia

Spent the day on Clovelly beach, just down the street from the Bondi Bech YHA is tamarama Beach which is one beach over (south) from Bondi.  Clovelly is the next beach over past, the lawn bowling grounds and the cemetary.  god rest their soles they have the best views, stunning.  This easiest way to reach is to take the coastal walk which is breath taking. The Clovelly beach is enhanced by the breakers being way out and then the inland is calm, no waves, and way down to a small beach.  The strangest phenomenon is the placement of pools right off the rocks about well if they were infifnity pools that is how close they ar eto the water. Guess you want a swimming pool when you are 2 meters from the ocean.  Some people ar never satisfied, not wven in paradise.  go figure.  Aside, they are playing a classic rock station that reminds me of home.  the hostel has like a link similar to sirus at home but they play all american tunes, so far have heard nothing of any local taste.  I did advise them that in theri display of nations flags that the USA flag was missing, I'm not sure how they took it but several of the Hostel workers came and had a look.  If anyone has one of those hand held US flags i need it to be sent to the following address so that it can be displayed prominenetly along with the other Nations.  (represent!)  The addressis Bondi Beachhouse YHA 63 Fletcher St. Beach, Sydney, NSW, Australia, 2026.  Yes it is a long address and NSW = New South Wales.  Please include a note of who you are and that you have sent the US flag to be prominently displayed in the common dining room over the windows.  Please include that you have sent the flag at the request of yours truly, resident room #409, 29/01/2011 - 04/02/2011.  Yeah, another learning curve item other than dodging cars coming at you from the wrong direction/side of the street, they also announce their waether in celsius not Fahrenheit and write the date dd/mm/yyyy, totally confusing as there arn't that many months until you get your mind wrapped around it.

Hmm...somehow lost the rest of this post so instead of continuing and possibly loosing what I already have I am going to post and will start a new post where I left off.  too bad there was some good stuff and about an hour of my time.  Like so many thing just another hour that I will never get back...lucky for me I was smiling the whole time :-)
