It is all about the Architecture here in the Czech Republic. I read somewhere that it was only a mere 20 years ago that the country was open to western civilization. Too Bad cause the world has been missing quite an incredible place....It is all about the Doorways! Check these out...I am planning a coffee table book: "Doors open to the Czech Republic".
Ok maybe I am obsessed, but they just don't make them like this anymore. Yeah, one or two are entrances to Churches, a few are businesses, but the majority are residential flats. Puleeese, they are more grand than the home they are attached to and most were on one block facing the river. Get out your Chezbooks, these must cost a pretty penny.
There are so many fascinating buildings that it 's like walking in a fantasy Disneyland. Wait till you see the building architecture these doors are attached to...stay tuned.
