These are the days of My Life - London England

Wow I am real behind on my blog, but will attempt to do some backtracking as I finally have free wifi in my room (dorm) so evenings can be spent getting back into the posting of my previous blogs.  I have been keeping the blog off-line it just takes so long to upload the blog and pictures when you have to pay for the wifi and then hope that it will upload in the time you purchased.  Living the life of a traveler is too exciting to spend time waiting for the Internet to upload.  I have just reached the 23,000 pictures point in my I-phone.  I am getting worried I will find out how many licks (pics) it takes to get the to chocolate center (implosion of my phone).

London, is back to normal after 4 nights of disturbing riots and destruction.  I guess that knowing a Texan was coming to town where we use the electric chair to settle the out of control citizens scared them straight.  Love being back in London.  This city is so culturally, historically, architecturally rich and not to mention the beautiful people.  Yummy!!

Came in via Heathrow so i stayed in Hammersmith, but traveled the tube to my old friend Convent Garden for a day of wandering this great city!

London's answer to Hair Club for Men...and Women.

Not sure if they are ever used anymore with the onslaught of cell phones but i just love the traditional phone booths.

London Bridge is not falling down.  It still looks spectacular from the London bridge one bridge over.

Big Ben chiming in the hours.

Parliament from the far side of the Thames. Spectacular even on this overcast day.

Changing of the Guards...or just flirting???

Queen Victoria statuary in front of Buckingham Palace.

Harrods Department Store, food court is to die for...delicious lunch!

Like my new look, I decided to go clean shaven just in time to arrive in London looking like a white supremist gang banger.  It is the easiest haircut to maintain.  I tried to join the: "Things to do in London tour...Nightly Riots"  but thankfully it was cancelled indefinitely since my arrival.  (kidding for those of you who don't know me well!!!!)  LOL

I was getting strange looks so i bought them for 3pounds so that they would distract from my white gang haircut...you can never be too careful...16,000 Bobbies with billy clubs can be daunting...lol

They are either the new kids on the block in training or doing a fashion shoot for skinny jeans either way; they were being filmed as they ran down the steps.  The one in the middle and the far left tripped on the first shoot so they had to do it again.

Yup, I 'm in London....What a great day!
